Its low profile size makes it one of the smallest form factor serial card solutions on the market today and one of the fewest to offer a low profile eight-port solution on a single card. The Digi Neo’s extensive cabling options (RJ-45, DB-9, DB-25) set a new standard for ease-of-installation and provide the only solution for tight workspaces and specialized server/PC environments.

The Digi Neo leverages an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) for reliable performance. It also delivers throughput speeds exceeding 460.8 Kbps, large buffers for data transfer, low latency and baud rate customization. Surge suppression (15KV) protects the signal for each port to ensure voltage fluctuations will not degrade data transmissions, which keeps the system running smoothly. This robust feature set makes the Digi Neo ideal for point-of-sale, industrial automation, factory control, kiosks and data collection applications.

The Digi Neo provides an enhanced software monitoring and diagnostic tool for Windows® operating systems. A similar tool for Unix and Linux operating systems is also available.
